Showing off her latest project with a set
of sexy pictures, Beyoncé Knowles is featured in an ad campaign for her House of
Deréon Autumn/Winter 2012 collection.
The "Single Ladies" singer teamed up with
her mother/co-founder Tina Knowles to create and design the new range which was
inspired by Beyonce's performance last year at the Glastonbury Music
Festival.
Tina told press, “I am so excited about
this autumn and winter ad campaign. The images of Beyoncé are amazing and we had
a lot of fun using the festival experience as our inspiration."
And while the fall offerings will be
mostly inspired by the festival attendee aesthetic, the winter goodies will
focus on Knowles' actual stage getup, including intense colors and shiny
sequins.
With Starbucks in hand, Jessica Alba
headed to lunch at Katsuya in Los Angeles today (August 27).
The 31-year-old actress wore a tan
blouse, striped jacket, lavender pants, and light flats as she carried a large
brown handbag. Blonde highlights shone through, though her hair was in a low
bun.
Gone is her natural brown hair due to her
role in the graphic novel-inspired film "Sin City 2." Miss Alba will portray
stripper Nancy Callahan in the movie.
The "Machete" actress took fans along for
her hair transformation on her Twitter account. On Thursday she tweeted, "Bye
Bye Brown Hair" r u on viddy yet? I'm documenting my brown to Sin City
blonde!"
Early on in the process, Jessica tweeted
a photo of her hair in limbo with the comment "Stage 1 -ok it doesn't look that
different but it's a process."
Andrew Garfield hit the beach in Malibu
with girlfriend Emma Stone and a group of pals to celebrate his birthday earlier
this week. He turned 29 on Monday and marked the occasion with a sandy day,
during which Emma wore a funny shirt that read "Happy Birthday." They
were back in the sun on Tuesday showing affection when Emma wasn't splashing
around in the ocean on a boogie board. Emma and Andrew are enjoying downtime on
the West Coast after wrapping up promotions for their Summer blockbuster, The
Amazing Spider-Man, last month. Emma will be back on set soon, though, to take
care of reshoots for Gangster Squad. She's also signed on for a new role in a
Cameron Crowe-directed romantic comedy that will film next Spring.
Debuting a new video performance put
together in the name of charity, Beyoncé Knowles unveiled her World Humanitarian
Day donated effort "I Was Here" on Saturday (August 18) as promised.
Having been pre-taped last Friday (August
10), the 30-year-old singer looked stunning in a sparkling white gown as she
belted out the track in front of a live audience at the United Nations General
Assembly Hall in New York City.
Co-directed by Kenzo Digital and Sophie
Muller under the production of Scott Robinson, the concert-based clip comes in
conjunction with Beyoncé and "I Was Here" songwriter Diane Warren having
bestowed their musical work and the proceeds it generates to World Humanitarian
Day efforts as a way to honor the victims of the horrific 2003 bombing in
Baghdad.
Previously telling the UN assembly that
it’s just one small effort to show she cares, Knowles passionately declared, “We
all see the headlines and think, ‘What can I really do to help?’ World
Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to make a
difference."

Ladies" singer took her vocal talents to the United Nations General Assembly
Hall to celebrate World Humanitarian Day, on August 19th. Singing "I Was Here,"
her performance honored 22 humanitarian workers who perished in a terrorist
attack in Iraq on August 19th, 2003.
Following the song, the 30-year-old star
told the audience, "I'd like to ask everyone to make sure they're a part of
August 19th. It's such a beautiful, beautiful day, and I'd like to honor the 22
people who lost their lives. God bless you all. Thank you so much for having
me."
Jay Z & Beyonce are accustomed to
raking in millions for their entertainment industry work, but this year Beyonce
and Jay-Z have reportedly pulled in enough dough to be named the World's Highest
Paid Celebrity Couple.
According to Forbes magazine's latest
list, the power couple earned an estimated $78 million in the financial year
ending May 1, giving them the coveted number one spot over last year's couple,
Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady.
Though the "Single Ladies" songstress
took some time off from her busy schedule this year after giving birth to their
daughter Blue Ivy, Bey managed to make an impressive $40 million on her own from
sponsorship deals, album sale and royalties from her back catalogue.
Bringing in the other half of the
Hollywood couple's income was the 42 year-old rapper who proved he still has
what it takes, as he raked in a whopping $38 million from his Watch the Throne
album and tour with Kanye West, continued book sales and income from his many
business endeavors.
Aside from the top spot, other celeb
couples who topped the charts were Gisele and Tom, who still managed to pull off
the number two spot with a close $72 million, David and Victoria Beckham with
$54 million and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie who pulled in an impressive $45
million.
Clearly making no attempt to go
unnoticed, a red hot Cameron Diaz hit the town for an Italian business dinner in
West Hollywood, CA on Wednesday night (August 9).
Proudly displaying her gorgeous gams in a
short black and white pattern skirt teamed with a red blouse, the "Shrek" siren
was in the highest of spirits as she cheerfully exited the upscale Mercato di
Vetro Restaurant alongside a male business associate following the surely
delectable meal.
Having remained for the most part obscure
from public view since the mid-May release of her not-so-successful film "What
To Expect When You're Expecting," Miss Diaz has been spending her time compiling
a health and wellness book for Harper Collins.
With the effort having been officially
announced just ahead of the 39-year-old's dinner on the town, Cameron's literary
work is still yet-to-be titled while slated for publication in fall of
2013.
Describing what readers can expect,
HarperCollins stated that the big screen beauty is hoping to "engage and
empower" young women through advice on topics including "health, fitness,
nutrition and general well-being."
Having worn some pretty dazzling outfits
over the years, Beyonce Knowles took it one step closer by bedazzling her nails
with portraits of her and husband Jay-Z.
The "Crazy in Love" singer recently
posted a photo on her personal Tumblr page showing off her new style. Bejeweled
nails with the letters J and Z surrounded tiny faces of the hip-hop power couple
with gold studs encircling each portrait.
In other B news, the 30-year-old mom will
take part in August 19th's World Humanitarian Day. She'll contribute a music
video for her song "I Was Here," which will be filmed in the U.N. General
Assembly Hall in New York.
